Introduction

　　 Branch committee for Antimicrobial industry of National Institute for Health Industry Management (in brief, CIAA), is an industry organism for nationwide antimicrobial industry managed by Chinese Ministry of Health. CIAA is made up of test institution, upriver & downriver of domestic antimicrobial industry; and managed by Chinese Ministry of Health and Chinese Ministry of Civil administration. Our principle is “Serve Industry, Self-discipline Market, and Promote the antimicrobial industry in healthy & continual development”.

　　To be found since 2002, CIAA has carried on much fruitful work, such as popularization antimicrobial knowledge, promotion company self-discipline, technology innovation, establishment standards, and international communion etc. Up to now, CIAA organizes or joins in the work for drafting 15 antimicrobial industry related standards; and elementary founds standardization system for national antimicrobial industry. These are created a good condition in normalize development for national antimicrobial industry. Moreover, as a delegate for P.R.C., CIAA joins in the work for drafting international antimicrobial ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) standards, and gets the right to speak at the international standardization system. This gets a good external environment for national antimicrobial companies to come into international market.

　　During those years, CIAA effectively manages market environment of antimicrobial industry, by culturing related technical staff for company and spot-checking antimicrobial products in market with national department for quality control.

　　To promote the communication with the international same trade, CIAA successively sponsors 5 times China Conference for Antimicrobial Industry Development and 4 times China Show for antimicrobial products. CIAA also organizes 3 times intercourses about domestic stuff going to Japan and joins in international shows in Japan.

　　CIAA, who works for promoting antimicrobial industry and getting rapid development of antimicrobial industry, is highly confirmed by national leader. Hui Liangyu, vice premier of State Department, wrote a congratulatory letter for the 5th China Conference for Antimicrobial Industry Development. He said in the letter:" As a new industry, the national antimicrobial industry has grown up to RMB 60 billion annual produce during 8 years. This is a splendid accomplishment."
